Teen Taal Theka
Teen Taal Theka is a 16-beat cycle that refers to chatrasat jati taal group. It is a north Indian taal. Taali is on the 1st, 5th & 13th beat and Khali is on the 9th beat. Teen taal has four divisions of 4/4/4/4 beats each. It is used in Indian Classical Music, Gurbani Sangeet, songs, etc. We will learn Theka for Teen Taal in this lesson. This is the most popular taal cycle.
