Pancham Sawari Taal Theka
Pancham Sawari Taal Theka is a 15-beat cycle. It is a north Indian taal. Taali is on te 1st, 4th & 12th beat and Khali is on 8th beat. Pancham Sawari taal has four divisions of 3/4/4/4 beats each. It is used in Indian Classical Music, Gurbani Sangeet, etc. We will learn Theka for Pancham Sawari Taal in this lesson.
One more version of Pancham Sawari is used in Gurbani Sangeet which has 5 taalis only and no use of Khali is there. We will shortly upload a detailed tutorial on that as well, till then please view this video for your reference(CLICK TO WATCH VIDEO).
