Mat Taal Theka
Mat Taal Theka is a 9-beat rhythmic cycle. It belongs to North Indian Classical Music. This taal consists of 3 divisions of 4/2/3 beats. The Tali is at the 1st & 7th beat and the Khali is at the 5th beat of the taal cycle. This is used in Indian Classical Music, Gurbani Sangeet, etc. Uthaan, Peshkar, Kayda, Rela, Tukda, Laggi, Chakardar, etc composition types can be performed in this taal cycle.
