Dadra Taal Theka
Dadra Taal Theka is a 6-beat cycle that refers to trisat jati taal group. It is a north Indian taal. Taali is on 1st beat and khali is on 4th beat. Dadra taal has two divisions of three beats each. It is used in light music, gurbani sangeet, ghazal, thumri, folk music, songs, etc. We will learn Theka for Dadra Taal in this lesson.
