Ustad Anthony Das Ji
Ustad Anthony Das ji was a prominent artist of Delhi Gharana. He was a very nice, elegant, knowledgeable, polite, and humble soul. Ustad Ji taught me and lots of others everything he knows about tabla. He was like a running river. Everyone can take as much water(syllabus) as they want. Ustad Ji had a very strong control on his hand and his playing style was too awesome. His playing style was influenced by Delhi Gharana.
This heavenly soul crossed the earth barriers in March 2004 in Delhi, India. We all miss him always. May God give him rest in his arms...

Being a student of Late Ustad Anthony Das ji, I feel honored to learn from him. He tought me a lot from Delhi Gharana. In a short period of time he make me to a level where I can perform on stage. I learnt for approximetly 1 year but in this 1 year he share so much with me.
In conclusion I can say that I can never stop thanking him and missing him till my last breath.
