Jhoomra Taal Theka
Jhoomra Taal Theka is a 14-beat cycle that refers to Mishra Jati taal group. It is a north Indian taal. Taali is on the 1st, 4th & 11th beat and Khali is on the 8th beat. Jhoomra taal has four divisions of 3/4/3/4 beats each. It is used in Indian Classical Music, gurbani sangeet, Khayal, etc. We will learn Theka for Jhoomra Taal in this lesson.
